I highly recommend everyone to read the KJV. There is a Bible translation that you can trust and who gives faith in God's Word!

Newer translations such as Bible 2000 and the Swedish People's Bible is based on a new basic text that came in the 1970s. The new basic text differs from the old basic text of about 3300 places in the New Testament.
We are giving the Swedish KJV advocates that we stick to the old basic text used by Christians throughout the Christian era. We believe that the Lord has kept his word.
Internationally also defend the British Bible Society Trinitarian Bible Society, Received Text, which gives out the King James Version in England. In the US, among other organizations of American Way of Life and The Dean Burgon Society.

The Swedish KJV follows the old basic text
Since our old Swedish Reformation Bible, Charles's Church Bible, very faithfully followed the Received Text, we have decided to revise this old Bible and wishes with the Lord's help ensure that it will live on in a contemporary language costume. On the few occasions when Charles's Church Bible differs from the Received Text as we have with the help of Greek knowledgeable experts translated the Received Text directly. This means that the KJV is a basic text faithful translation of the Received Text and on the occasions that you can choose different interpretation options, we have, as a rule chosen the interpretation found in Charles's Church Bible. KJV New Testament is thus a modern translation of the original Greek Received Text while it is also a revision of Charles's Church Bible. In addition, the English translation King James Version exerted great influence on the work of the New Testament. Anyone who wants to find a Swedish equivalent of the King James Version should also choose KJV, as these translations faithfully follows the original Greek text.
