What is sanctification?

Sanctification is to become more like Jesus!

Sanctification is to become more like Jesus!

Sanctification is God's work in us who believe in Jesus. He wants to shape, nurture and transform us.

Sanctification is the process by which those who are saved through faith in Jesus turned to increasing holiness, and like him.

Sanctification is done by the grace of God, with no other consideration than that it is willing, pray, humble and bends, and have an open mind.

Sanctification is God's work in us who believe in Jesus. He wants to shape, nurture and transform us.

Flesh "sanctification"

It is important to distinguish between the sanctification is a work of God in us, and a self-chosen consecration happens in the flesh. A self-chosen consecration is only religion that satisfy the carnal mind and is of no use. True sanctification takes place in the Holy Spirit.

In sanctification combine it with the Holy Spirit to stop sinning and instead do good. Sanctification means that it is not normal for a born-again Christian to daily commit willful sin.

God wants to transform us to live more pure, more good and more lovingly. He wants us to imitate Jesus more and more. Not that we should be saved - but because we already are saved through faith in Jesus.

Salvation and sanctification

When you have been saved and walking with Jesus will be more and more cease doing too bad and things that are not good.

Salvation begins by receiving Jesus. It begins not with sanctification. But sanctification begins after you have received Jesus and got saved.

You can not himself sanctify you and live clean and in this way hope you will be saved, but sanctification is a work of God in us that have already been saved, through faith in Jesus.

Those who are saved through faith in Jesus is called in the Bible sacred.

2 Cor 1: 1 . Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and brother Timothy, to the church of God which is at Corinth, and with all the saints [saved] who are in the whole of Achaia.

Want to get saved and get all your sins forgiven? Pray this prayer:

- Jesus, I receive you now and confess you as Lord. I believe that God raised you from the dead. Thank you that I am now saved. Thank you that you have forgiven me and thank you that I am now a child of God. Amen.

Did you receive Jesus in prayer above?
